SUBIC, Philippines – Philippine bet Joey delos Reyes played catch up on the way to bagging the men’s duathlon silver medal in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games here on Monday, December 2.

Delos Reyes made up for lost time in the bike leg of the 10-kilometer run, 40-kilometer bike, and 5-kilometer run before finishing second with a time of 1 hour, 53 minutes, and 4 seconds behind Indonesian champion Jauhari Johan’s 1:52:51 clocking.

Thailand’s Nattawut Srinate rounded out the top 3 after crossing the finishing line at the 1:53:05 mark, just a second behind Delos Reyes.
