Skidding with two straight losses, the Tamaraws were dealt another blow after RR Garcia was suspended by the UAAP after incurring his second unsportsmanlike foul, the league announced Tuesday, August 20.
The Season 73 MVP was called for his second infraction after swinging an elbow in the way of Oda Tampus in a defeat they suffered at the hands of De La Salle University on Sunday, August 18.

With FEU taking a one-week break, Garcia will miss the Tamaraws’ rematch with streaking University of the East on Sunday, August 25 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Garcia, who averages 13.9 points and almost two 3-pointers per game, was first slapped an unsportsmanlike foul on June 29 against the Red Warriors, when he threw the ball at Lordy Casajeros. – Rappler.com
