August 21 PBA games cancelled

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Basketball Association has cancelled its scheduled games for Wednesday, August 21 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

In a post by its official Twitter account, the PBA said it is postponing matches due to floods and the continuing inclement weather as Luzon continued to be battered by rains for the 4th straight day. 

Games that will be rescheduled are the following:

GlobalPort Batang Pier vs San Mig Coffee Mixers

Talk N’ Text Tropang Texters vs Alaska Aces

The PBA is the latest in a long line of leagues that have cancelled games because of the weather. The NCAA, the UAAP and the Shakey’s V-League have suspended games from Monday, August 19 to today. – Rappler.com
