MANILA, Philippines – The best collegiate stars and showbiz personalities unite for Fastbreak 2, a benefit game to help survivors of typhoon Yolanda on Saturday, November 30 at the Blue Eagle Gym in Quezon City.
Organized by Ateneo de Manila University star guard Kiefer Ravena, Fastbreak 2 brings together college hoops stars, Gilas Pilipinas cadet pool members, and celebrities to raise funds for rehabilitation efforts in areas affected by the super typhoon.
Tickets are available at Titan Katipunan Branch and Ally’s All Day Breakfast Place in UP Teacher’s Village for P100, P200, and P500.
Ravena will team up with younger brother, UAAP Juniors MVP Thirdy Ravena and celebrities Xian Lim, Jhong Hilario, Vhong Navarro, and Billy Crawford as they go up against a squad bannered by two-time UAAP Seniors MVP Ray Parks.
Parks will have in his fold Gerald Anderson, Chris Tiu, Young JV, Ervic Vijandre, and Kevin Alas, among others.
Fastbreak 2 follows the success of the first Fastbreak event in January 2012, which Ravena also spearheaded. The event was able to raise P400,000 for the victims of typhoon Sendong in Mindanao.
A mass with Father Tito Caluag will precede the show that starts at 12 noon and shall include performances by bands Midnight Meetings and Hansom.
Donations in cash and in kind will also be accepted during the event.
