The University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses defeated the University of the East Lady Warriors in four sets to snap a four-game losing streak.
MANILA, Philippines – The University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses defeated the University of the East Lady Warriors in four sets, 25-19, 25-14, 23-25 and 25-22, in the 76th UAAP Women’s Volleyball tournament Saturday afternoon at The Arena in San Juan.
The victory snaps a four-game losing streak for UST, moving their record to 3-5, while UE remains winless at 0-8
Pam Lastimosa led UST with 18 points, while Jessey de Leon and Carmela Tunay contributed 13 and 12 respectively. Shaya Adorador led UE with 12 points. – Rappler.com
