MANILA, Philippines – It seems like Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s only positive headlines come inside the ring.
The unbeaten pound-for-pound best boxer in the world was involved in an altercation on Saturday night (Sunday PH time) in Las Vegas with rapper T.I. (real name Clifford Joseph Harris) at a Fatburger fast food restaurant, TMZ is reporting.
According to the news outlet, T.I. verbally instigated the incident before attempting to punch the 46-0 (26 knockouts) boxer, who has won world titles in five divisions. Mayweather, 37, was heard on an Instagram video yelling at the Atlanta-born “What You Know” rapper to “control your b—h.”
TMZ reports that T.I. was gone by the time police arrived.
Mayweather is scheduled to fight on September 13 in Las Vegas, but no opponent has been named yet. – Rappler.com
