MANILA, Philippines – World Cup action continues this Wednesday at midnight (PH time) as football giants Argentina face-off with up-and-coming Switzerland in the round of 16.
Argentina, led by four-time footballer of the year Lionel Messi, went 3-0 in the group stage while Switzerland went 2-1. Still Switzerland, led by Xherdan Shaqiri, outscored Argentina 7-6 in the group stage. Argentina has still dominated matches head-to-head, going 4-0 with 2 draws while outscoring the Swiss 14-3.
