MANILA, Philippines – After the blowout that was Super Bowl XLVIII, NFL fans were overdue for a good one at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The spectacle did not disappoint as the contest between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks came down to the last minute, with the Pats prevailing 28-24.
It was a time of triumph, and also a time of finger-pointing, as Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll took heat for calling the play that led to the interception that clinched the game for New England.
