MANILA, Philippines – What ever happened to dismissed chief justice Renato Corona?

Almost two months after his conviction, Corona was spotted with his wife Cristina — this time in a different court.

From the impeachment court to the basketball court, the inseparable duo took their seats on the stands to cheer for Corona’s alma mater, the Ateneo Blue Eagles, on Sunday, July 15 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Corona, who was in blue, attended Ateneo for grade school, high school and college. He also received his law degree from Ateneo Law School and obtained his masters in business from the Ateneo Professional Schools.

Ateneo defeated Adamson University, 73-57, on their first game for UAAP Season 75 with a convincing victory to start off their 5-peat campaign.

This was one fight Corona won.
