MANILA, Philippines – How sweep it is!
The Ateneo de Manila University Lady Eagles completed a 16-0 run through UAAP Season 77 with a straight sets victory over De La Salle University, 25-22, 25-17, 25-23, on Saturday, March 14 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The win gives Ateneo their second straight UAAP championship, and second ever overall, putting a ribbon on an afternoon that saw skipper Alyssa Valdez win her second straight UAAP MVP award, plus teammates Denden Lazaro and Jia Morado won Best Libero and Best Setter awards respectively.
