MANILA, Philippines – Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors’ set a new record for most three-pointers in a single NBA post-season, hitting number 59 in the Warriors’ game three victory over the Houston Rockets to surpass Reggie Miller’s previous mark.
The reigning NBA MVP scored 40 points in that game, including 7 three-pointers made. Curry needed just 13 games to break the mark, which Miller needed 22 to set.
It has been a hot-shooting year for Curry, who also won the three-point shooting title. His Warriors can sweep Houston and gain entry to the NBA Finals when they play game 4 on Tuesday morning, May 26 Manila time. – Rappler.com
