IN VINES: San Miguel sweeps Alaska for 21st title

MANILA, Philippines – The San Miguel Beermen won their 21st franchise championship on Friday, July 17, after defeating the Alaska Aces 91-81 in Game 4 of the PBA Governors’ Cup Finals to complete a sweep. 

Led by the 33 points of import Arizona Reid, San Miguel used a dominant 33-16 third quarter to erase a 14-point Aces lead and build an advantage that climbed to as high as 16.
