LAS VEGAS, United States – Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White has seen many fights in his lifetime but was blown away by the turnout at the Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao weigh in, the night before their mega fight on May 2.

The weigh-in at the MGM Grand Garden Arena was filled to the rafters, the atmosphere much like past fight nights.

“It’s awesome. This is going to be a great fight. This should’ve been a fight that happened a long time ago. I bought a ticket, I’m here,” White told Rappler on Friday, May 1.

He said his ticket cost $7,500.

Asked who he is rooting for come fight night, White said his preferred winner is different from who he is predicting to win.

“I’m rooting for Pacquiao but I think Floyd is going to take it,” he said.

The mega fight between the two boxers is the most lucrative in boxing history, set to make at least $400 million.

It is also expected to decide who the best pound for pound fighter is today.
