Warriors prank Festus Ezeli, make it seem like he was cut

MANILA, Philippines – When you’re the defending NBA champions and on the verge of making history, you can get away with almost anything.

That includes making it seem like your team’s back-up center, who’s recovering from injury, has been cut.

That’s what Warriors guard Andre Iguodala and the rest of his teammates did as a pre-April Fool’s prank to Festus Ezeli, who got in a car and heard on radio that he was let go by Golden State.

After that, the big man received text messages from teammates and coaches talking about the news. 

Iguodala eventually revealed to Ezeli that it was a joke, to which the big man responded by throwing some cake at his laughing teammate.
