MANILA, Philippines – The Che’Lu Bar and Grill-San Sebastian Revellers rode on a fiery 4th quarter run to dispatch the Marinerong Pilipino Skippers, 88-71, in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena on Monday, June 11. 

Jessie Collado poured in 20 points as the Revellers broke a 60-all deadlock with a 16-3 spurt in the final period to keep the pesky Skippers at bay. 

Jeff Viernes chalked up 14 points with 5 rebounds and 4 assists while JR Taganas and Chris Bitoon added 12 and 11 points, respectively, for Che’Lu-San Sebastian, which won its first game and now tote a 1-1 card.

Marinerong Pilipino held the upper hand in the 3rd quarter before the Revellers unloaded 10 straight points for a 56-53 lead. 

Robbie Manalang paced Marinerong Pilipinas with 18 points while Jorey Napoles chipped in a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds.

The Skippers, who opened their campaign on a high note, now also carry a 1-1 record.
