MANILA, Philippines – Former Adamson Falcons head coach Leo Austria has officially been named the next head coach of the San Miguel Beermen franchise, the team announced Saturday, August 2.

Through their official Twitter account, the Beermen mentioned that Austria would take over coaching duties beginning the All-Filipino Conference of the PBA’s 40th season that starts in the next few months.


Austria becomes the fourth head coach dating back to 2013 for San Miguel, which was previous led by Biboy Ravanes and Team Consultant Todd Purves.
