WATCH: Curry does ‘LeBron Challenge’ with Irving cheering him on

MANILA, Philippines – Shots fired.

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry poked fun at LeBron James’ workout video by doing his own version of it – or what has since been known as the “LeBron Challenge” – during a party at former teammate Harrison Barnes’ wedding.

Curry’s rendition was caught on video and posted by Sports Illustrated on its Twitter account.

But that wasn’t the end of it.

James’ (erstwhile?) partner Kyrie Irving was seen cheering Curry on while the latter did the challenge.

This adds another twist to the thickening plot in Cleveland, with guard Irving having previously expressed his desire to be traded.

Reports then surfaced that Irving no longer wants to be in the shadow of James – this despite the duo leading the Cavaliers to 3 straight NBA Finals appearances and a much-awaited championship to boot.

For the growing Steph-LeBron rivalry, this is also a new chapter following James taking shots at Curry during his infamous Halloween party last year, after Cleveland made the greatest comeback from a 3-1 deficit to win the title. – Rappler.com
