Manila traffic greets Ray Allen on his first visit

MANILA, Philippines – The NBA’s most lethal outside shooter of all time, Ray Allen, landed in Manila on Tuesday, August 29, and was overwhelmed by the intensity of the traffic when he went for a morning jog.

He arrived from Hong Kong, where, along with rapper MC Jin, he was the main guest in the Sneaker Con event held on Saturday, August 26, at the Asia World Expo.

The retired NBA player showcased his world-class shooting form to his fans during the Hong Kong event. He also shared his thoughts about his favorite Air Jordan models and Player Exclusive (PE) shoes that were released over the course of his career.

Primarily known as “Jesus Shuttlesworth” in NBA circles, Ray Allen played in the NBA for 18 seasons and won NBA championships with the Celtics in 2008 and the Heat in 2013. He was also a 10-time NBA All Star player.

Despite his decision to sit out the NBA 2015-2016 season to prepare for a comeback, he ultimately announced his retirement on November 1, 2016. – Rappler.com
