Klay Thompson expected to get 5-year max offer from Warriors
MANILA, Philippines – The Golden State Warriors are not just about to let go one of the players who helped them build a dynasty in the NBA.
Klay Thompson is expected to receive a five-year, $190 million maximum offer from the Warriors as the NBA free agency begins on Sunday, June 30 (Monday, July 1, Philippine time), ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported.

Drafted 11th overall by the Warriors in 2011, he has established himself as one of the premier two-way players after earning himself a spot in the All-NBA Third Team twice and in the All-Defensive Second Team.
The 29-year-old has helped the Warriors win 3 NBA championships and reach 5 consecutive finals – the last of which saw him go down with a torn ACL on his left knee.
But his injury, which could sideline him for the a significant time next season, does not seem to bother the Warriors as they look to keep their core intact with him rejoining Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Kevin Durant.
Thompson averaged 19.5 points on a 41.9% shooting from three-point land to go with 3.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and .9 steals in his 8 years with the Warriors. – Rappler.com
