MANILA, Philippines - Terrence Romeo came into game 1 of the 2016 PBA Philippine Cup semifinals with a purpose. He left with Globalport Batang Pier up 1-0 over the Alaska Aces.
The former UAAP MVP out of Far Eastern University torched the Aces for a career-high 41 points - including 6-of-11 makes from 3-point range - to go along with two rebounds, 4 assists, and two steals as Globalport won 107-93 on Monday, January 4.

Romeo scored 22 by halftime, including a field goal he tapped in off an Anthony Semerad free throw miss with 0.3 left in the half.

The 23-year-old from Cavite is coming off a productive off-season, having debuted with the Philippine national team Gilas Pilipinas in the William Jones Cup and FIBA Asia Championship.
