The second-year PBA team becomes the first franchise in the league to have its own training facility

MANILA, Philippines – The Mahindra Enforcers will now be practicing in their own swanky new training facility inside the Azure Urban Resort and Residences in Bicutan.

The second-year PBA team unveiled the new gym dubbed “The Hardcourt” and had  a blessing for it on on Saturday, March 12.

The entire team led by interim coach Chito Victolero was present during the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which also had company officials in attendance.

Mahindra is an Indian automobile brand locally distributed by Asianbrands Motors Corporation, a sister company of the Columbian Autocar Corporation (CAC), which distributes KIA in the Philippines.

The Enforcers become the first active franchise in the league to have its own training facility. The Hardcourt reportedly includes a swimming pool, a weights room, and will soon have a basketball shooting machine.

Head coach Manny Pacquiao, who is in the midst of training for his upcoming fight with Timothy Bradley, was unable to attend the event.

Mahindra is currently 3-3 in the 2016 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
