LOOK: Japeth Aguilar visits wake of avid fan who passed away

MANILA, Philippines – Japeth Aguilar paid his respects to an avid fan who passed away this past week.

The Barangay Ginebra big man was seen at the wake of Jusper Soriano, affectionately known as “Little Japeth” by those close to him, in a photo circulating online.

The cause of Soriano’s death isn’t confirmed but Aguilar found out about his fan’s passing through social media, as Ginebra fans shared around the news and alerted him.

Aguilar, fresh from his Gilas Pilipinas stint, then reportedly dedicated to Soriano Ginebra’s 96-82 victory over Blackwater on Friday, May 26.

He also paid tribute to Soriano through a photo with the young fan posted on his Instagram account. 

So sorry to hear about the passing of this young man. Sending our thoughts and prayers to Jusper’s friends and family. I know you guys are going through tough times, stay strong and trust God’s plan. Psalm 147:3 Revelation 21:4 Salamat sa pagiging kabarangay. You are an inspiration to me, Little Japeth.
