The burly Rain or Shine forward bested 11 other big men to rule the Obstacle Challenge in the Luzon leg of the 2018 PBA All-Star Week here at the Batangas City Sports Center on Friday, May 25. 

Belga clocked in 21.7 seconds and defeated other finalists in Blackwater’s Poy Erram (29.6 seconds) and San Miguel’s Gabby Espinas (30.5) in the spiced-up version of the event that saw only big men participate. 


With the win, Belga also bagged a cash prize of P30,000 from Cignal HD. 

The other participants were Alaska’s Sonny Thoss, Barangay Ginebra’s Raymond Aguilar, GlobalPort’s Kelly Nabong, Columbian’s Russel Escoto, Meralco’s Ken Bono, Phoenix’s Justin Chua, Magnolia’s Aldrech Ramos and TNT’s Yousef Taha.
