IN PHOTOS: PBA All-Stars visit the sick, plant trees in Palawan
MANILA, Philippines – During the first day of the 2015 PBA All-Star Weekend festivities in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, certain players of the league and Commissioner Chito Salud took part in charitable causes that included a visit to the Ospital ng Palawan and a tree-planting activity on Thursday, March 5.
The league also held a press conference along with PBA governors and government officials of Palawan.
The PBA All-Star festivities will take place from March 5-8, with the All-Star Game on Sunday between the North and South All-Stars being the main event. Talk 'N Text face of the franchise Jimmy Alapag will have his jersey retired at the All-Star game.
On Friday, the league will hold the slam dunk contest, three-point shootout competition, and obstacle challenge, among others. Many time dunk champion KG Canaleta will look to add a different PBA All Star title to collection as he takes part in the three-point shootout challenge while 2014 top overall pick Stanley Pringle will aim to win the obstacle challenge. – Rappler.com
