WATCH: Donaire, Juarez make weight for title fight
Both Nonito Donaire Jr and Cesar Juarez weighed in at the 122-pound limit ahead of their 12-round fight for the vacant WBO junior featherweight title fight

MANILA, Philippines – Both Nonito Donaire Jr and Cesar Juarez weighed in at the junior featherweight limit of 122 pounds on Friday ahead of their 12-round fight for the vacant WBO junior featherweight title fight on Saturday, December 12 at Coliseo Roberto Clemente in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The Filipino-American Donaire (35-3, 23 knockouts) is seeking to regain the title he won in 2012 with a decision victory over Wilfredo Vazquez Jr, but lost by unanimous decision to Guillermo Rigondeaux the following year. The title became vacant when Rigondeaux was stripped of the two belts he held due to inactivity.

Donaire, a champion in 4 divisions, is riding a two-fight winning streak since moving down from featherweight after being stopped by Nicholas Walters in October of 2014.

The fight will be promoted by Top Rank and aired on TruTV as the co-featured bout to the Felix Verdejo vs Josenilson Dos Santos 10-round lightweight bout. – Rappler.com
