‘Pancit hairstyle’ and ‘It’s okay, Donaire!’ – netizens

MANILA, Philippines – 34-year-old Filipino Flash Nonito Donaire Jr faced 24-year-old Jessie Magdaleno to defend his WBO junior featherweight title on Sunday, November 6, in Las Vegas.

This is the first time he fought a match on Manny Pacquiao’s undercard. He said his fights were “blocked” by Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz for one reason or another. (READ: Nonito Donaire stands as his own man on first Pacquiao undercard)

It’s a good day for social media-active Filipinos who love cheering their champions. With Pacquiao and Donaire fighting on the same day and in the same venue, netizens in and out of the country weighed in. With socal media, a lot of boxing fans got an opportunity to also broadcast their boxing commentaries. 

Some couldn’t resist saying a thing or two about Magdaleno’s hairstyle.
