Pacquiao responds to Mayweather’s taunts: ‘Come on let’s fight’
"If he posted that in his Instagram, he should fight me now," says Pacquiao, renewing calls for a bout between himself and Floyd Mayweather Jr

MANILA, Philippines – Eight-division boxing world champion Manny Pacquiao called out the undefeated Floyd “Money” Mayweather once again on Thursday, November 27, during a press conference held at the InterContinental Hotel in Makati City.

Pacquiao, reacting to Mayweather’s recent post on his Instagram account where he mocks the Filipino boxer’s knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez in 2012, challenged Floyd to finally agree to fight him.

“He thinks I’m easy to be knocked out… come on, let’s fight,” Pacquiao said.

“If he posted that in his Instagram, he should fight me now,” said Pacquiao, before sarcastically saying: “Madali pala akong patulugin eh. Laban na siya (I guess it’s easy to knock me out. He should fight me).”

Pacquiao is coming off a dominant unanimous decision win over Chris Algieri, 119-103, 119-103, 120-102, this past weekend in Macau. Thanks to his performance, which was his third straight win following the loss to Marquez, the pressure is now mounting on Mayweather to accept Pacman’s call.

Oscar De La Hoya, the president of Golden Boy Promotions who has fought both Pacquiao and Mayweather, took to Twitter to pledge his support to make the fight. De la Hoya, who has promoted many of Mayweather’s recent fights, said “I’m prepared to put up the biggest guarantee in sports history.”

On Thursday morning, November 27 Pacquiao took part in a motorcade that started at the Makati City Hall and ended up in the InterContinental Hotel together with Philippine Vice President Jejomar Binay and Makati City Mayor Junjun Binay.
