PWR caters new venue for wrestling fans
The sports-entertainment company is transferring to iAcademy’s state-of-the-art auditorium in Makati City after staging 6 events at the Makati Cinema Square Arena

MANILA, Philippines – To cater to the growing fans of professional wrestling all over the metro, Philippine Wrestling Revolution is moving to its new home for its second “PWR Live” show on Saturday, November 28.

The sports-entertainment company is transferring to iAcademy’s state-of-the-art auditorium in Makati City after staging 6 events at the Makati Cinema Square Arena.

“The new venue will provide PWR fans a much comfortable environment to enjoy the intense wrestling action that only PWR can provide,” creative director Ouel Babasa guaranteed to Rappler.

Aside from the new venue, PWR will unveil its newly-constructed standard wrestling ring to be baptized by its prized competitors on the aforementioned date and will be used regularly for the promotion’s succeeding events.

“The PWR ring is a surprise so people will have to attend PWR Live and find out how it looks like. All I can reveal right now is it is a ring that is capable of handling all sorts of wrestling styles that we all know and love,” Babasa said.

PWR Live will be bannered by a Philippine Hybrid X championship clash between current titleholder Ken Warren and Chris Panzer.

Both men are no strangers to each other as Warren and Panzer crossed paths inside the squared-circle on 3 occasions, with the latter winning the last two confrontations.

Warren won the Philippine X Hybrid belt at September’s PWR Renaissance by defeating Ralph Imabayashi in the tourney finals, while Panzer was taken out of the competition for the midcard title along with masked crowd favorite Mayhem Brannigan by Fighters 4 Hire.

In other matches, Imabayashi collides with “The Cutthroat” John Sebastian for the third time to determine the next challenger for “Classical” Bryan Leo’s PWR championship strap.

Meanwhile, SANDATA will have the opportunity to settle his score with Peter Versoza after his ex-tag team partner turned on him following Dual Shock’s loss to Fighters 4 Hire at PWR Renaissance.

Also making a special appearance at PWR Live is former PWR champion “The Senyorito” Jake De Leon.

Bryan Leo is set to introduce the newest member of the “Royal Flush” stable on Rederick Mahaba’s “Mahabang Usapan” talk show.

PWR will also showcase its promising future, with the introduction of a new cast of characters –  graduates of the organization’s boot camp program.

Tickets are available at the iAcademy Auditorium for P400 (VIP), P350 (Premium), P300 (Basic) on Saturday. Doors open at 6:00pm, while opening bell rings at 7 pm. – Rappler.com
