PWR champion Ralph Imabayashi has to once again overcome the odds when he meets Classical Bryan Leo in a rematch at iAcademy

MANILA, Philippines – With 3 months to go until its second annual spectacle dubbed “Wrevolution X,” things are starting to heat up in Philippine Wrestling Revolution (PWR).

Performers among its ranks seek to settle personal feuds at this year’s “Vendetta” event on Saturday, February 20.

“Classical” Bryan Leo will have to opportunity to regain the PWR championship when he locks horns with the organization’s current titleholder Ralph Imabayashi for the second time in the card’s main event.

After losing the strap to Imabayashi last December in what was perceived as an unexpected title change, Leo made his intention clear that he wanted the PWR belt around his waist again by attacking the Filipino-Japanese wrestler following his victory over The Apocalypse at January’s PWR Live 3.

With a helping hand from his Royal Flush cohorts, Leo planted Imabayashi’s trampled body on the mat with a belly-to-back inverted slam, otherwise known as the “Royal Flushdown.”

Leo stood tall at the center of the squared-circle after the beat down on Imabayashi and pronounced his desire to reclaim the upper echelon of PWR’s food chain by shrieking “One month,” which meant that the reigning champion has a month left to enjoy his present stature.

Meanwhile “The Senyorito” Jake De Leon will see action at PWR Vendetta as he stakes his “Path of Gold” trophy against Royal Flush’s resident muscle Main Maxx.

The “Path of Gold” trophy guarantees its possessor a crack at either the PWR championship or the Philippine Hybrid X title.

De Leon, a former PWR champion, plans to cash in his title shot at Wrevolution X in May for the promotion’s top prize, but Main Maxx ardently wishes to have the whole portion of the agile haciendero’s privilege.

Aside from the aforementioned two matches, PWR Vendetta will also feature the champion vs. champion encounter between Philippine Hybrid X champion Ken Warren and newly-minted MyPW extreme division kingpin Bombay Suarez.

Both men are no strangers to each other as the two squared off at last year’s “Vendetta” affair, with Suarez getting his hand raised in triumph

PWR will make a tremendous mark in the young history of professional wrestling in the Philippines at this year’s “Vendetta” event as Peter Versoza battles ring announcer Crystal in an inter-gender bout.

After bowing down to Suarez at PWR Live 3, Versoza lashed out his frustrations at Crystal by delivering a double underhook facebuster (known popularly as The Pedigree).
