Ex-WWE wrestler TJP ‘coming home’ to Manila in October 2019
The Fil-Am former WWE cruiserweight champion will be at the 'PWR Homecoming' show

MANILA, Philippines – Filipino-American wrestler and former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar TJP will be “coming home” to the Philippines in October 2019.

Through a video clip in one of their shows on Sunday, June 30, the Philippine Wrestling Revolution (PWR) announced that TJP (full name TJ Perkins) will be at the “PWR Homecoming” show on Saturday, October 12, at the ABS-CBN Vertis Tent.

TJP was the inaugural holder of the rechristened WWE Cruiserweight Championship after winning the Cruiserweight Classic tournament in 2016.

He then wrestled under WWE’s 205 Live brand until his departure from the company in February 2019.

In a tweet on Sunday, TJP responded to the announcement at PWR’s show “PWR Live: Pak! 6anern!”

“I am yours. Always have been. Always will be,” he said, referring to his Filipino fans.

TJP’s visit comes weeks after WWE’s return to Manila for a show at the Araneta Coliseum on September 20. – Rappler.com
