CAGAYAN VALLEY, Philippines – The Western Visayas Region is taking the dominance in the partial medal tally on the fifth day of the 27th Season of State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) National Olympics in Tuguegarao City.

As of 3 pm, Region VI has reaped 26 gold medals, with 7 silvers and 10 bronzes.

18 of the 26 gold medals were counted from their championship in the Pencak Silat tournament.
