Vans presents Go Skateboarding Day this Sunday

MANILA, Philippines – Vans is gearing up for this year’s Go Skateboarding Day once again! Bring your friends and family out to Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Forum 1 & 2, Pasay City and enjoy a full day of skate activities, free giveaways and cash prizes!  

The final round of the Vans Philippines Skate Championship will also take place where the Philippine’s Skate Champion will be determined. Champion for the VPSC this year will receive an amount of Php 30,000 in cash plus exciting products from Vans and a year supply of Monster Energy Drink! Join the after party as The Exsenadors, Bad Omen, Pinkcow, and Urbandub play live to cap off the celebration. 

D.I.Y Ramp Contest

Don’t miss out, as this year’s Vans presents Go Skateboarding Day will feature the 2015 D.I.Y Showdown, where local shops and skate crews will team up in a head-to-head battle to design, build and shred their own custom obstacle for a $2,000USD cash prize and a chance to represent their city at the 2015 House of Vans, China. Commencing on July 3^rd, D.I.Y. Showdown winners will be chosen via public online voting and special Vans Skate Team judges so keep an eye out for the link to vote for your favorite team and custom obstacle.
