Two-time world titlist Ukraine’s Dmytro “Smoove” Krivenko took the gold medal (79 points in the final) and France’s Guy “Frequent Flyer” Dupuy settled for a silver (60 points) after he used up all his attempts in the first round in the battle for first place. 

Carlos’ tallied a total of 46 points that was not enough to advance to the final round. 

In his opening act, Carlos jumped over two girls and produced a windmill off the bounce, which merited him 21 points. 

In the second round, the Filipino pro dunker stacked two men on each other with the one on top holding the ball. Carlos launched himself to collect the ball and easily slammed it home for the 25 points. 

Ukraine’s Vadym “Miller” Piddubchenko ran out of attempts in the second round of the eliminations, which also gave Carlos an edge to finish on the podium.
