The Philippines leaned on elder statesmen Dondon Hontiveros and Asi Taulava during the late stages of the game for a come-from-behind victory. In the roster for today will be Calvin Abueva, Gary David, Ranidel De Ocampo, Dondon Hontiveros, JC Intal, Gabe Norwood, Marc Pingris, Troy Rosario, Matt Ganuelas-Rosser, Asi Taulava, Moala Tautuaa and Sonny Thoss.
Gilas faces Chinese Taipei B tomorrow in its final match of the tournament.
