The country’s push for the 2022 Winter Olympics will feature a new breed of Filipino skaters, including Filipino-American Sofia Frank.

Growing up in California, Frank fell instantly in love with figure skating when she was three years old and continued to pursue her passion until she was given a chance to represent the Philippines in the sport.

As her mom Precious Tongko was crowned Bb Pilipinas-Maja 1990, it runs in her blood to don the Philippines’ colors on the international stage.
