NLEX Road Warriors star Kiefer Ravena has signed with the Jordan Brand, becoming the first Filipino to join the brand’s elite roster of basketball athletes.

“It’s an honor for me to be part of this basketball family,” said the 27-year-old Ravena.

“I’m both thankful and excited to be the first Filipino to be a member of the Jordan Brand,” he added.

After a stellar college career with the Ateneo Blue Eagles in the UAAP, where he won two championships and two league MVP awards, Ravena went on to become the second overall pick in the 2017 PBA Draft by the Road Warriors.

Ravena, who is now entering his fourth season with NLEX, averaged 19.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup.

The second-generation basketball star has also represented the Philippines in numerous international tournaments, including the 2019 FIBA World Cup, where he averaged 4.8 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists for Gilas Pilipinas.

In a heartfelt Instagram post on Tuesday, May 4, Ravena again expressed his gratitude to the brand for giving him the opportunity to become the first Filipino athlete to ever sign with the prestigious company.

“I still can’t believe that I’m part of the Jordan Brand Family,” said the basketball phenom.

“Thank you, @jumpman23, I’m thankful for the opportunity to be the first Filipino joining the Jumpman Family.”
