
MANILA, Philippines – Kevin Durant captured back-to-back Finals MVP awards after the Golden State Warriors completed a clean sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals.
Durant averaged 28.8 points, 10.8 rebounds and 7.5 assists in the title series, highlighted by a playoff career-high 43 points in Game 3 and his first Finals career triple-double of 20 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in Game 4.

Steph Curry made it a very close fight, though, as the two-time season MVP also notched a Finals-record 9 triples in a 33-point performance in Game 2 and dropped a game-high 37 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, 3 blocks and 7 three-pointers in an eye-popping full line in Game 4.
