Los Angeles Lakers star players Anthony Davis and LeBron James could be back on the court together in three weeks, according to an ESPN report Saturday night, April 10 (Sunday, April 11, Manila time).

Davis was sidelined February 14 with a strained calf and tendinosis in his right leg while James suffered a high right ankle sprain three weeks ago.

The report said Davis would be evaluated by team doctors in the next few days and, if all checks out, could play within the next 10 to 14 days, adding that James should return in three weeks.

Davis (22.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.8 blocks, 1.3 steals per game this season) and James (25.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, 7.9 assists) would be a boost to the struggling defending NBA champions.

The Lakers already slipped to No. 5 in the Western Conference at 33-20.

On Saturday, LA played without five of their rotational players due to injury but the Lakers still pulled off a surprising big win over East leader Brooklyn Nets, 126-101.
