Top prospects Daishen Nix, Jonathan Kuminga, and Jalen Green combine for 69 points to power the undefeated Ignite past the Raptors 905

Team Ignite extended their winning streak to 3 games after taking down the Raptors 905, 113-105, in the NBA G League on Saturday, February 13 (Sunday, February 14, Manila time) at the Disney World bubble in Orlando, Florida.

Top prospects Daishen Nix, Jonathan Kuminga, and Jalen Green combined for 69 points to propel Team Ignite to an undefeated start.

Nix finished with a game-high 25 points, along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists, while Kuminga added 23 points and 13 rebounds in the victory.

Green, the 19-year-old Fil-Am sensation, had 21 points on a very efficient 7-of-12 shooting clip, to go with 3 rebounds and 3 steals.

Leading by only 4 points, 63-59, at halftime, the Ignite flipped the switch in the 3rd period and led by as many as 14 points, 79-65, off a three-pointer by Green.

The Raptor 905, led by NBA journeyman Nik Stauskas, managed to climb back and trim the deficit to just 1, 93-92, midway through the 4th frame.

However, the Ignite, who are playing minus 7-foot-3 Filipino basketball wunderkind Kai Sotto, went on another blazing run in the final minutes of the ball game to put away the Raptors 905 for good.

Stauskas led the way for the Raptors 905 with 23 points, while second-generation player Gary Payton II contributed 15 points, 13 rebounds, and 7 steals in the loss.

Indian center Princepal Singh once again did not see action for the Ignite, while Sotto is reportedly set to return to the United States, and hopefully reunite with the team in the ongoing bubble season.

The Ignite will get one day of rest before facing the Iowa Wolves on Tuesday, February 16, Manila time.
