The G League Ignite player who used the jersey number supposedly for Kai Sotto has found himself back to the NBA.

Athletic big man Donta Hall has signed a 10-day contract with the Toronto Raptors after posting respectable numbers for Ignite in the ongoing G League season, NBA insider Shams Charania reported.

Donning the No. 11 jersey originally assigned to Sotto, Hall averaged 8.9 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks in 9 games as he helped Ignite rack up a 6-3 record for 6th place.

Hall, who played for the Detroit Pistons and the Brooklyn Nets last season, joins a Raptors squad that is currently at 5th place in the Eastern Conference with a 16-17 card.

It is the same jersey number Sotto wore during his stints for the Ateneo Blue Eaglets and Batang Gilas.

However, Sotto was not able to sport the jersey for Ignite as he returned to the Philippines to play for Gilas Pilipinas – a plan that did not push through following the postponement of the FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers.

Sotto and Ignite eventually parted ways.

Despite the breakup, the No. 11 jersey is still up for sale in the G League Store, with the regular size selling for $59.99 and the youth size for $44.99.
