LOOK: LeBron James shares sneak peek of ‘Space Jam 2’

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James expressed his excitement for the upcoming Space Jam: A New Legacy as he shared exclusive first-look images of the movie on his social media accounts on Thursday, March 4 (Friday, March 5, Manila time.)

“Y’ALL NOT READY FOR THIS SQUAD!!!!,” wrote James.

Space Jam: A New Legacy, which is scheduled for release in July, is a sequel to the 1996 box office hit Space Jam starring NBA legend Michael Jordan.

For the upcoming movie, James will join forces with iconic Looney Tunes characters such as Bugs Bunny and Lola Bunny on the Tune Squad to take on the powerhouse Goon Squad led by American actor Don Cheadle.

According to reports, Space Jam: A New Legacy will also feature James’ fellow NBA stars Anthony Davis and Kyle Kuzma of the Lakers, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors, Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers, and Chris Paul of the Phoenix Suns. 

On the hardwood, James, 36, is averaging 25.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 7.8 assists for the 24-13 Lakers, who currently sit at the No.3 spot in the Western Conference.

The four-time league MVP James is set to appear in the NBA All-Star Game for the 17th consecutive season when Team LeBron faces Team Durant on Monday, March 8, Manila time. – Rappler.com
