The NBA announces that of the 482 players tested since January 27, zero had confirmed positive tests

The NBA, which had to postpone 23 games since December 23 because of coronavirus protocols and went through a stretch of January that turned up more than 20 positive tests, appears to have its situation currently under control.

The league announced Wednesday, February 3 that of 482 players tested since January 27, zero had confirmed positive tests.

This most recent report comes on the heels of the NBA’s announcement on January 27 that since January 20, 492 players had been tested and just one returned a confirmed positive test.

One need only go back to the middle of last month, when the NBA revealed it had 11 players out of 502 test positive from January 13 to 20, and 16 players out of 497 test positive between January 6 to 13, to see how far the league has come.

In addition, just one game was postponed in the past week, and that was the result of an inconclusive test instead of a positive one. – Rappler.com
