Rapper Snoop Dogg did not mince words as he sounded off on Danny Green for missing the potential title-clinching shot for the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Miami Heat.

Snoop Dogg, an avid Lakers fan, took to social media to air his frustrations on Green as the Lakers fell short in closing out the Heat and nailing their 17th NBA championship.

Green found himself left wide open at the top of the key with less than 10 seconds remaining and the Heat leading by only a single point, but his three-pointer hit only the front of the rim.

Markieff Morris then threw the ball out of bounds after grabbing the offensive board as the Heat won 111-108, cutting their series deficit to 2-3.

“Danny Green is a bi*ch,” Snoop Dogg posted on Instagram.

“Get [your] a*s back in the gym right now. [How the] fu*k [are you] going to sleep. Get [your] shot right, fool. We one game away.”

The 11-year veteran Green has struggled with his outside shots in the finals, averaging 24.7% in 31 three-pointers attempted in the series.

Snoop Dogg claimed he can do better than Green.

“I can shoot 30%.”

Snoop Dogg has since deleted his other posts but kept a meme of Green – wearing a “Hawkeye” costume – missing all of his targets on his account.

It was not the first time the rapper berated some of the Lakers’ role players.

When the Lakers lost their Christmas Day game to the Los Angeles Clippers last year, Snoop Dogg was livid.

“You better start making them threes. I ain’t talking about them starters, I’m talking about them other n**gas on the bench,” he said.

“Get your a*s in the gym right now and go work on your f**king shot. So when LeBron [James] throws the motherf**ker, you make them.”

The Lakers, who have not lost back-to-back games in this postseason, will try to wrap up the best-of-seven series in Game 6. – Rappler.com
