MANILA, Philippines - The Philippines reigned supreme for the second straight day at the triathlon event as Nikko Huelgas finished with a top time of 2:04:32 in the men’s individual event on Sunday, June 7 at East Coast Park, Singapore.

Leaning on the run as his strongest discipline, Huelgas finished 1:03 ahead of silver medalist Rikigoro Shinozuka of Malaysia and 2:29 ahead of Loo Chuan Rong of Singapore. Fellow Filipino Saim Jonard finished sixth, 5:46 behind the lead.
