Lorenzo leapt 6.66 meters to bag the gold medal in the secondary – boys long jump event to jumpstart his and the National Capital Region’s bid in the athletic competitions at the Gov. Mariano Perdices Memorial Stadium here.
Hailing from San Sebastian College in Manila, Lorenzo, who will also compete in high jump and triple jump, nailed the gold in his third attempt to lead Bicol’s Rafael Bueno (6.55 meters) and Davao’s Lord John Rollo (6.52 meters). – Rappler.com
