MANILA, Philippines – JR Quiñahan, Paul Lee, and Jericho Cruz all contributed to a hot shooting night for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters as they surged to a 3-0 lead over the Alaska Aces in the best-of-7 finals of the 2016 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

Quiñahan was the spark for a huge 67-point output in the second and third quarters, allowing the Painters to build a 27-point lead and ultimately win, 112-108, on Wednesday, May 11.

Though the Aces, despite having no fluidity and energy on offense, managed to cut the lead late in the fourth and inch to within 4 points with a second to go, but ran out of time.
