
MANILA, Philippines- Former PBA player Jeffrey Cariaso is now engaged to his girlfriend, courtside reporter Erika Padilla
News broke on Wednesday, April 12 that the Alaska Aces assistant coach has finally popped the big question to Sports5 reporter Padilla, his partner for more than two years.
Friends of Cariaso, 44, and Padilla, 30, took to social media to congratulate the the newly-engaged sports couple.

Sel Guevara, who is also a reporter and workmate of Padilla in Sports5, posted a photo as well as a short clip of the proposal on her Instagram account.
“The Titan is off to wed his goddess,” Guevara shared to her Instagram followers on Wednesday.
“Coach Jeff, you had my vote since day 1! Love you guys!”
Cariaso was the 1995 PBA Rookie of the Year and a former Finals MVP, and had previously served as the head coach for Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. The Alaska Aces, the team he won a Grand Slam title with in 1996, paid tribute to the news with a special dedication video on their YouTube channel.
