HIGHLIGHTS: PBA Finals 2018 Game 2 – Barangay Ginebra vs San Miguel Beermen

MANILA, Philippines – Barangay Ginebra shoots for a 2-0 lead while San Miguel seeks to equalize when they meet in Game 2 of the best-of-7 finals in the 2018 PBA Commissioner’s Cup on Sunday, July 29, at the Araneta Coliseum.

The Gin Kings look to bank on the momentum they gained from their rousing 127-99 Game 1 win on Friday, July 27, while the Beermen aim to redeem themselves from their worst loss of the conference.

Focus will be on Justin Brownlee after he lifted Ginebra with 42 points on a 17-of-19 shooting to go with 9 assists, 7 rebounds and two blocks. (READ: LA Tenorio all praise for red-hot Brownlee)

It was a rough night for the Beermen, but rookie Christian Standhardinger was one of the few bright spots in the lopsided loss after delivering a career-best 26 points. (READ: Silver lining: Standhardinger stands out in SMB blowout loss)

Although Game 1 was a walk in the park for Ginebra, both teams expect a nip-and-tuck battle in Game 2. Tip off is at 6:30 pm.
