MANILA, Philippines – Famed player agent Sheryl Reyes died Saturday afternoon, May 11, after a bout with cervical cancer. She was 39.

Fellow player agent Charlie Dy broke the news on Instagram.

“Rest in peace @femaleagentsr. I will miss you. Thanks for all the help and fun times. ‘Til we meet again,” Dy wrote.

Reyes was known for bringing in quality imports in the PBA, serving as agent to Justin Brownlee of Barangay Ginebra and Renaldo Balkman of San Miguel.

She was also key in having NBA champion Lamar Odom suit up for Mighty Sports Philippines in the Dubai Basketball Championship earlier this year.

Reyes was engaged to former Adamson Soaring Falcon big man Papi Sarr. – Rappler.com
