MANILA, Philippines – TNT shoots for a commanding 3-1 advantage while San Miguel eyes for the tie when they meet in Game 4 of the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup finals at the Araneta Coliseum on Sunday, August 11.
Game 3 has proven a lot of things, and for the KaTropa, winning means making sure that stellar import Terrence Jones gets to finish the game.
Tossed out late in their double-overtime Game 2 loss, Jones managed to keep himself in Game 3 and showed the way in a 115-105 victory with a near triple-double performance.
On the other side, the Beermen – hounded by lethargic starts throughout the entire conference – have shown for the second straight outing that they can build double-digit leads early.
The problem now for San Miguel is maintaining its strong start after blowing 17-point advantages in the past two games.
